Didier holds a Medical sciences Doctorate from the University of Cocody in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire and received a master’s degree of Development and Nutritional policy from the Senghor University of Alexandria in Egypt. He is currently doing  a PhD on food sciences and biochemistry.

As a medical doctor he works at the national Buruli ulcer control Program under the Ministry of Health of Côte d’Ivoire, where he is Biology and Research officer. Didier has a considerable experience of working on Skin-NTDS, especially in cases detection, wound management, surgery, and prevention of disabilities. Along with clinical practice and public health-related responsibilities, he has been conducting research studies in wound care for patients with Buruli ulcers, yaws, leprosy and other skin-NTDs.

He is an associate researcher at Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Côte d’Ivoire, where he is part of the research group Food and nutrition security.

His main research interest is on chronic wound healing with nutritional support. Currently, he is working on the effect of diet on wound healing in the Health demographic surveillance system of Taabo, Côte d’Ivoire, as clinical investigator.  So far he has published 1 paper.
