6 March 2019

On February 25, 2019, the Annual Master Conference on Participatory Risk Analysis and One Health was held in Belgium. It focused on integrated risk management for health in the south.

Prof Bassirou Bassirou Bonfoh, Director of Afrique One-ASPIRE, took part as trainer of Master’s Fellows. He taught them about the theme of integrative risk management.

Organized by the University of Liège in collaboration with Afrique One-ASPIRE, this meeting saw the participation of Nicolas Antoine-Moussiaux, specialist in Livestock Economics and Animal Health and Jean Tirole, Economic Nobel Prize and founder of the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse.

What we remember from these interventions is that health is a public good, huge ethical component in health innovation with strong incentive component.
