Seven Afrique One-ASPIRE members (the list is below) attended the workshop of the ZELS-Brucellosis project in West and Central Africa which was held from the 13^th to 15^th December 2017 in Dakar, Senegal. They took the occasion to discuss with Prof Javier Guitian, Principal Investigator of ZELS in order to see the possible links between ZELS and Afrique One-ASPIRE mainly, regarding the Afrique One-ASPIRE Thematic Training Programmes (TTPs) on Brucellosis and the zoonosis Surveillance-Responses systems.

A common understanding of collaboration in term of students training, results sharing and organizing joint events emerged from the discussions. Moreover, a meeting will be organized between Prof Guitian, Prof Bassirou Bonfoh, Director of Afrique One-ASPIRE, and Prof Rudovick Kazwala, Leader of Afrique One-ASPIRE TTP on Brucellosis.
