Didier holds a Medical sciences Doctorate from the University of Cocody in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire and received a master’s degree of Development and Nutritional policy from the Senghor University of Alexandria in Egypt. He is currently doing  a PhD on food sciences and biochemistry.

As a medical doctor he works at the national Buruli ulcer control Program under the Ministry of Health of Côte d’Ivoire, where he is Biology and Research officer. Didier has a considerable experience of working on Skin-NTDS, especially in cases detection, wound management, surgery, and prevention of disabilities. Along with clinical practice and public health-related responsibilities, he has been conducting research studies in wound care for patients with Buruli ulcers, yaws, leprosy and other skin-NTDs.

He is an associate researcher at Centre Suisse de Recherches Scientifiques en Côte d’Ivoire, where he is part of the research group Food and nutrition security.

His main research interest is on chronic wound healing with nutritional support. Currently, he is working on the effect of diet on wound healing in the Health demographic surveillance system of Taabo, Côte d’Ivoire, as clinical investigator.  So far he has published 1 paper.

Mr. Lwitiko Elton Sikana is a research scientist from the Ifakara Health Institute (IHI), Tanzania. He has a background in social sciences, with considerable experience of doing mixed methods research. Over a decade Mr. Sikana has been working on rabies projects with collaborations between Ministries of Health and Livestock, and northern partners (i.e. University of Glasgow, UK). His ambition is to continue working on zoonotic diseases with a focus on the One Health approach to address public health problems.

Akoko Sita KONDO is a Togolese scientist working and studying in Cote d’Ivoire. She holds a master’s degree in sociology specialised in Health from the University of Jos Nigeria since 2018. She is currently doing her PhD in health sociology at the University Alassane Ouattara and is an associated researcher at Centre Suisse de recherches en Côte d’Ivoire (CSRS).  Her scientific interests are on the knowledge production and knowledge uptake of zoonotic disease in Africa.
