Community of Practice webinar with Prof. Bassirou Bonfoh on One Health
In view of the challenges faced by pastoral communities, the One Health approach is today presented as a solution. How does the Afrique One-ASPIRE consortium manage to implement it and to fight effectively against zoonoses through One Health? Our Director, Prof Bassirou Bonfoh will share Afrique One-ASPIRE experiences in term of control and elimination of zoonoses in East and West Africa.

About Professeur Bassirou Bonfoh
Bassirou Bonfoh holds a DVM and a PhD in epidemiology. He worked for 5 years (1995-2000) in West Africa as a livestock development program coordinator for Vétérinaires Sans Frontières. He went for a 4-year (2000-2004) epidemiology postdoctoral fellowship at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) and Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH).
