Grand Bassam will host the 4th annual meeting of Afrique One-ASPIRE

15 September 2019

From 19 to 27 September 2019, the city of Grand-Bassam in Côte d’Ivoire will host the 4th annual meeting of  Afrique One-ASPIRE. As in previous editions this meeting will start with the summer school and will end with the board meeting. The summer courses will begin on the 19th and will be structured around article writing (i) and grant writing (ii).
In this year a place of choice will be dedicated to the Community and Public Engagement. Our researchers will conduct field visit to health centers in Grand-Bassam. This field visit aims to consider scientists as agents of change, helping to create an impact on research, to promote the use of research, and to ensure that the results of their research reach the right audiences.
The aim of this field is to identify methodological gaps to improve the engagement process by Afrique One-ASPIRE fellows and postdocs.
Fellows will then present their research findings on 25th and 26th with posters and oral communications.
